Had a transmission swapped out on a vintage Corvette. Some ignition work done too. Next day - while the car shifted very well - as it should - the engine was running horribly rough - with misfires and backfires. Brought it back to Sargeant's, and a borderline ignition part that should have been replaced along with the other ignition work was not replaced at the same time. Talked to Mike and he knew my concerns - no hesitation on his part - took the car right in - and at the end of the day the problem had been corrected and the car returned to me. My car broke down suddenly in the middle of a busy day. I contacted Sargeant Service Center and within an hour this family owned and professional business had evaluated the problem and put me in a great rental car at a very fair price. Kevin made me feel welcome from the first moment I brought in my car until I picked the car up less than 24 hours later. He put in extra effort to make sure all my needs were met and on time. Highly recommended!

I'm very impressed with their work at Sargeant Service Center.   Laura did an excellent job keeping me informed of the progress.  I found Sargeant Servce Center online and found they are AAA approved   I called and talked with Laura and told her the problem and she said they will need to look at the car  first but could obtain a used steering column and install it for around $550.  This was after I visited another shop who told me it would cost around $1,800 but that they did not have the part and was not sure when they could have the part. Sargeant Service Center repaired it for a total of $546.60 This was covered by a one year warranty.  Sargeant Service Center is great and they have a customer for life.  If you need mechanical work in St Augustine area I recommend you contact them. I was very pleased at the courteous, efficient manner in which the guys at Sargeant Service Center replaced both of my front hub and bearing assemblies. The cost of materials and labor were fair, however the $34.95 for shop supplies seemed out of line. When I called to question this charge, I was pleased to speak with Mike P who he offered credit for my next service to compensate for this charge which I was not made aware of previously.
