While visiting the area from out of town, we ran into issues with our AC. We just happened to find Sargeant's after leaving the dealership with disappointing news regarding the length of time it would take to diagnose and repair. We were able to get right in for a diagnosis at Sargeant's, and were given an estimate and doable timeframe for the repairs. We even took advantage of the shuttle service, which allowed us to still enjoy our original plans to explore downtown while our car was being serviced! The staff definitely went above and beyond to help us, and we are so grateful. Highly recommend to everyone!!

At Sargeant Service Center in St Augustine, routine maintenance and repair isn’t the only thing we do. For custom parts installation, you can also count on us. Common modification enthusiasts do is swapping to a short-throw shifter; but what actually is a short-throw shifter, and what does it do?
At Sargeant Service Center in St Augustine, cars are our passion, so naturally, we like to keep up with new technology on the market. At the moment, surprisingly the current trend is moving towards a goal you may not expect; self-driving vehicles. You’ve probably heard about self-driving cars a little bit here and there on the news, but it likely still seems somewhere in the realm of science fiction to you. However, the reality is that self-driving cars are on the way and maybe here sooner than you think. Already, almost all major automobile manufacturers are dumping billions of dollars into research and development for self-driving cars, and even companies like Uber are jumping on board.
Your radiator hoses are under a lot of pressure, in both the figurative and literal sense. From Sargeant Service Center in St Augustine, FL, here’s what you need to know about the radiator hoses on your car, truck, or SUV.
Who created the world’s first car is actually a matter of debate; since the invention of the engine, people had been installing them on horse carriages to make them self-propelled. Even when automobiles specifically designed for engines came around, they were hardly recognizable as a car by today’s standards. However, the first patented automobile, a vehicle specifically designed to be propelled by an engine, was built by Karl Benz and completed in 1885.
