I was driving home to Florida after visiting friends in NJ when my transmission cooling line in my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer burst. My immediate thought was having to spend several days in St. Augustine to have my car repaired. Several locals recommended Sargeant Service Center a few miles away. After having my car dropped off, I was greeted by Kevin, one of the managers, who quickly diagnosed my issue, quoted me a fair price, ordered the necessary parts and got me back on the road in a few hours. In fact, the technician worked after closing to ensure I would make it home the same day. I was even offered a ride to go out and grab some lunch while I waited. Can't say enough about Kevin and his team. If I lived closer, I would bring all my cars to them! Well done Sargeant! - Jay C. (5 star review on Google)
Simple service visits can discover all kinds of things you would think are obvious but we simply get in and drive! If the lights come on and the car starts....No Problem. Then we see things like this here at Sargeant Service Center in St Augustine and we have to ask...When did you hit something and WHAT was it. The typical answer is WHAT??? They've already forgotten the incident an don't realize that a bent rim could case all kinds of problems. Then we ask...Does it pull a little when you are driving?
No Cold Air? This looks like a really clogged up home A/C filter right? It's an evaporator that on a vehicle is meant to allow air to flow through it and cool down your vehicle's A/C unit allowing it to work properly. This, however, is a seriously plugged up evaporator with very little air flow coming through! The A/C Evaporator did not get this way overnight, providing warning signals along the way such as the car wasn't cooling enough.
This shop is wonderful! Kevin and staff are always professional, proactive and honest! Harold drove me to work and it was a wonderful ride. That man is a gem! We need more Harold's in this world!!! Thanks Sargent's! - Florida CenterforTMS

While your exhaust system helps reduce noise output from your vehicle, it also significantly reduces harmful emissions from being released into the air. When your muffler and exhaust system functions properly, it significantly reduces your vehicle's harmful impact on the environment. It also significantly improves the functionality of your vehicle and improve fuel mileage for your car, truck, SUV or Jeep.
An exhaust system is made up of numerous parts that work together to rid your car of the exhaust gases that are created during the combustion cycle, as your engine burns fuel. Each part of your exhaust system has an important role to play in removing exhaust gases away from the engine as quickly as possible, allowing another cycle of combustion to begin. The more quickly and efficiently an exhaust system does this the more efficiently an engine can run. The main parts of an exhaust system are an exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, oxygen sensors, exhaust pipes and the muffler.
At Sargeant Service Center in St Augustine, FL, we employ ASE certified technicians. But, what does that mean for you? We’re here to explain.
